THE ARTIFACT
These freshwater shell remnants were reclaimed from the shores of Lake Erie. Each piece is unique. I have hand-wrapped the shell in silver wire and added silver hoops and a faceted crystal orb to catch and refract the sun. Comes with a suction cup.

THE ORIGIN
These organic artifacts are the porcelain-like remains of Lake Erie’s freshwater mollusks, unearthed from the shoreline’s deep sandbars. Scoured by the lake’s relentless surf and bleached by the sun, these calcium-carbonate relics have been transformed into matte, ivory-toned ‘petals’ that bridge the gap between the lake’s aquatic life and its geological spirit.
