THE ARTIFACT
This white beach glass was reclaimed from the shores of Lake Erie. Each piece is unique. I have hand-wrapped the glass in silver wire and added decorative bead accents. This suncatcher features a light brown macramé rope, elegantly connecting each element for a charming, rustic touch. Comes with a suction cup.

THE ORIGIN
Clear white glass fragments began their journey as early 20th-century ‘flint glass’—the clear, high-quality crystal once used for apothecary jars, milk bottles, and domestic glassware. Lost to the lake decades ago, the relentless scouring of Lake Erie’s shale-heavy shelf has ‘frosted’ the translucent surface into a brilliant, matte white, transforming discarded utility into a spectral, gem-like relic.
