THE ARTIFACT
These white tile fragments were reclaimed from the shores of Lake Erie. Each piece is unique. I have hand-wrapped each of them in silver wire to follow the shape of the tiles and added accents of hematite.

THE ORIGIN
These unique porcelain artifacts began as early 20th-century industrial or domestic tiles, reclaimed by the lake and meticulously sculpted by decades of shifting sands into the smooth, organic ‘shore-gems’ they are today.
